The Tour Auto Lissac is definitely not a quiet … tour: five racing days during which the crews worked hard for this 2006 event. From Paris to Cannes, visiting Beaune, Vichy, Valence and Nîmes, some 200 cars have combined pleasure of discovering the French regions and excitement of a competition whose level has never declined in fifteen years time.
Many great names took the start of the Tour Auto Lissac: François Chatriot, Jean Ragnotti, Erik Comas, Claude Brasseur encouraged by Sir Stirling Moss who came specially to give the start. But… once again the Hügenholtz' in their Lotus Elan were the winners. The Index of Performance title returned to Logan/Hampton (Porsche 356), whilst the Linwoods led Regularity again.
