A new success for Chiles/Mountford's Ford GT40 and third position for Gläsel/Kozka's one: the American manufacturer is definitely under the spotlights! Nevertheless, Leventis /Hardman's Ferrari 250LM came in between the two to rank second. French rally man Jean Ragnotti and Francis Mercier finally get on a well deserved G/H podium in front of the Entremonts who were harshly defending their 2002 position.
As for the itinerary, the Tour Auto once again finished in Cannes, after passing through Dijon, Vichy, Aix-les-Bains and Nîmes. From Paris to the famous Croisette in Cannes, the spectators could benefit from a wonderful and complete show made of cars coming from everywhere throughout the world.
